Audiogram and Tympanogram
This is an auditory assessment test that measures the level of hearing by measuring air and bone conduction thresholds at various frequencies and with a wide range of intensities.
If the patient is suffering from hearing loss, this exam provides information about the type and extent of such hearing loss.
This exam consists of determining the mobility of the tympanic membrane and ossicular chain in the middle ear by gradually applying variations in pressure on the external auditory canal.
Pitch and Loudness Matching
This exam is designed to assess the psychoacoustic characteristics of tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, in order to try to define its parameters (frequency and intensity).
