What are they?
Laboratory tests are a series of analyses or tests indicated by the doctor in order to diagnose and collect epidemiological data.
Laboratory tests may also be used to perform routine tests, known as a check-up. However, their primary purpose is to prevent illness. Today, laboratory tests help prevent and treat a wide range of diseases when they are diagnosed at an early stage.
The tests play a very important part in preventive medicine and supplement clinical observation in the prevention of a variety of diseases. In this context, Diatra also performs gynaecologic cytology (smear test), one of the primary gynaecological examinations used in the diagnosis of cervical cancer.
